Police investigating assault at Belconnen Mall

Police have released images of a teenager they would like to speak with following an assault that occurred at Belconnen Mall on Tuesday afternoon.

ACT police said a teenager was assaulted following an altercation between two groups at about 4.30pm.

The alternation happened on the lower level of the mall in the forecourt adjacent to the Benjamin Way entrance.

Police investigating the incident say they want to talk with a teenager who is described as being Caucasian in appearance, about 15 to 18 years old with a thin build.

He was wearing a black hooded jumper, black shorts and a white cap at the time of the incident.
