A PERSON has been arrested for an alleged sexual assault at TRNSMT 2025, as the total number of arrests have been revealed.
Police Scotland confirmed that a total of 19 arrests were made over the course of the TRNSMT 2025 music festival, held at Glasgow Green.
Nine individuals were arrested on the final day of the festival, July 13, with alleged offences including possession of weapons, assaulting police officers, and general assault.
Police have said that other festival-goers ended up in cuffs for sexual assault, hate crime, and culpable and reckless behaviour.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Nine people have been arrested and charged in connection with various offences in and around the area where TRNSMT festival was held at Glasgow Green on Sunday, July 13 2025.
"The offences included police assault, assault, sexual assault, culpable and reckless behaviour, hate crime, and possession of weapons.
"Reports will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
The Sunday arrests followed four made on Saturday, July 12, for alleged offences including breach of the peace, possession of a knife, drug-related offences, and breaching a curfew.
An additional six arrests were made on Friday, the festival’s opening day, in connection with offences such as assaulting police officers, hate crimes, general assault, and outstanding warrants.
Despite the arrests, the event welcomed around 150,000 music fans over the weekend and featured major performances from artists including Snow Patrol, 50 Cent and Biffy Clyro.
