The death of a woman found in a Lawrence Weston property is being treated as unexplained, police have said.
Police were called to the address in Campbell Farm Drive shortly before 2pm this afternoon (December 27).
On arrival, officers discovered the body of a woman and cordoned off the property.
Crime scene investigators are currently at the scene and police enquiries are under way.
Part of the road is understood to have been closed off by police during the afternoon.
A spokesman for Avon and Somerset Constabulary said: "We were called to reports of the body of a woman in a property in Campbell Farm Drive in Lawrence Weston shortly before 2pm today (December 27).
"Her death is being treated as unexplained.
"The property has been cordoned and crime scene investigators are currently carrying out a search of the property.
"Police enquiries are continuing to try to determine what has happened.
"Anyone with information is asked to contact us, quoting reference 5219297272."
