Police investigating after homeless man threatened in aggravated burglary

Police are investigating an incident in which a homeless man was threatened and burgled at a property in Bristol.

The man had been staying at a property in Bath Road, Totterdown when the crime took place sometime between midnight and 1am on Saturday, June 1.

A police spokeswoman confirmed and investigation was ongoing and officers are pursuing a number of lines of enquiry.

“During this incident a man was threatened and items were stolen,” said the spokeswoman for Avon and Somerset Constabulary.

“Officers are ensuring appropriate safeguarding is in place for the individual concerned.”
