Police investigating a series of Kinross break ins over the weekend

Police are investigating a series of break ins reported in Kinross over the weekend.

Officers reckon their suspects first struck in Station Road where a garage was raided sometime between 8pm on Friday, June 19 and 12pm the next day.

A second garage on the same street was similarly targeted sometime between 10.45pm and 7am the following morning. A selection of tools were taken on both occasions.

Officers are working on the assumption the same people also broke into Kinross Tennis Club sometime between 9.30pm on Friday and 8.30am the following morning.

Fortunately for club members and managers nothing was taken during this incident.

Lastly officers reckon the same suspects also forced their way into the former Windlestrae Hotel at around 11.20pm the same Friday.

It was still unclear yesterday whether anything was taken during this incident.

Anyone with information can call 101, quoting 0974 of June 20, or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
