POLICE are launching an investigation into the "unexplained" death of a three-month-old baby.
Officers have attended a property in the Knightswood area of Glasgow after they were made aware of a baby being taken to the Royal Hospital for Children at around 5pm on Tuesday, August 26.
Tragically, the baby boy passed away on Wednesday, August 27.
Neighbours have reported a police presence outside the property on Locksley Avenue over the past few days.
Officers say they are treating the death as unexplained.
Enquiries are ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 5pm on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, we were made aware of a three-month-old boy having been taken to the Royal Hospital for Children from a property in Locksley Avenue, Glasgow
“The child later died on Wednesday, August 27, 2025.
“The death is being treated as unexplained, and enquiries are ongoing.”
