A crime scene has been established after a 'suspicious' blaze broke out at a Raymond Terrace on Wednesday night.
Emergency services were called to the unoccupied premises on Glenelg Street on reports of a fire about 9.20pm on July 29.
Port Stephens-Hunter Police District officers helped to evacuate neighbouring properties while firefighters worked to tackle the blaze.
There were no reports of injuries resulting from the fire.
Fire and Rescue NSW firefighters were able to extinguish the fire, but, the home was destroyed.
Police are treating the fire as suspicious and are investigating the circumstances surrounding around the incident.
