A crime scene was established in Lawson on Wednesday night after a suspected shooting and arson incident.
Police were called to Lawson at 10pm on Wednesday where two vehicles were ablaze in the driveway of a Narrambla Terrace home.
Police found bullet holes throughout the home and two melted fuel containers beneath one of the cars.
Detective Superintendent Scott Moller said there were three people at the residence.
"They are concerned, obviously, like we all are," he said.
Detective Superintendent Moller said no one was injured from the incident.
ACT Policing is seeking witnesses and information relating to the incident.
Police believe a number of people were involved in the incident, with two people seen running away and getting into a dark coloured four-door hatch style car that was parked near the intersection of Narrambla Terrace and Solong St shortly before police arrived.
