The fire near Wansdyke Primary School happened shortly before noon, according to the police.

Both the fire service and police officers attended.

Officers were still at the scene today.

The spokesperson added: “If you have any information which could help the police investigation into the cause of the blaze get in touch with officers on www.avonandsomerset.police.uk/contact or by calling 101, quoting reference 5220006387.

“Alternatively ring the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. They never ask your name or trace your call.”
