About 11:30 p.m., someone fired shots at a man driving westbound on I-80 near Torrence Avenue near Lansing, Illinois State Police said in a statement.

The 38-year-old man, who was uninjured, pulled over to the Lincoln Oasis and spoke to investigators, state police said. He was the only occupant of the vehicle.

State police said the incident remains under investigation.
