Police are investigating a report of a sexual assault in West Belfast.
The PSNI has not released many details regarding the alleged incident.
A spokesman said: “Detectives in Public Protection Branch are investigating the report of a sexual assault on a woman in the Falls Road area of West Belfast during the early hours of today (9th September).
“There are no further details at this time.”
It is understood an area behind buildings between La Salle Gardens and Fallswater Drive was sealed off as part of the investigation.
