POLICE are assessing a TikToker’s videos after he allegedly used Meta smart glasses to “secretly film” members of the public and shop workers during a trip around Scotland.
Footage posted by Scott Margerison includes him swearing at a stranger, making sexualised comments about young women and an interaction with a Sikh shopkeeper where he talks about a plan to “breed out the white race”.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We are aware of the videos posted online and are assessing the content.”
In another video Margerison, from Rochdale, recorded a tour of the bridge of the CalMac ferry Loch Seaforth, prompting the firm to suspend the popular visits.
A CalMac spokesperson said: “We have temporarily paused bridge visits on vessels by members of the public after an incident where an individual filmed in a restricted area without permission.
“Our crews and port teams always welcome interest in CalMac, but their safety and wellbeing is our number one priority.”
It is not known which ferry the incident took place on.
Our sister title, the Ayrshire Weekly Press, previously reported how Margerison is a "far-right influencer" who has already been accused of approaching underage children at a Tommy Robinson rally in London.
He was allegedly filmed "sexually harassing" the teenager in front of her own mother.
One website reported that when told the girl's age, he replied: "F***ing hell. You need a warning sign on you."
The child's mum replied: "She's got a mother ... that's enough."
