Police have launched an investigation into the rape of a woman in Glasgow city centre this morning.
The 28-year-old was attacked in West George Lane in the early hours.
Officers say the inquiry is at a very early stage and the area between Hope Street and Wellington Street has been sealed off.
A spokesman for Police Scotland said: "Enquiries are ongoing in the area of West George Lane following a report of a serious sexual assault on a 28 year-old woman.
"Enquiries are at a very early stage."
