Police are investigating a "disturbance" at a Perth hotel which left one man with injuries to his face.

Officers attended at the New County Hotel at around 7.30am on Tuesday, November 17.

They had received reports of the disturbance "involving a number of people".

A 29-year-old had to be taken to hospital for treatment.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Officers attended at a hotel in County Place in Perth at 7.30am this morning (Tuesday, November 17, 2020) after reports of a disturbance involving a number of people.

“A 29-year-old man suffered facial injuries as a result and received hospital treatment.

“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full set of circumstances."
