Police investigate assault following dog walker dispute in Notts village

A police investigation has been launched into the assault of a woman who was walking her dog in a Nottinghamshire village.

The incident happened on Saturday, November 22 at 2pm and followed a dispute with a fellow dog walker in Boundary Woods, close to Belle View Lane, Blidworth.

The female dog walker was grabbed around the throat and pushed to the ground.

The suspect is described as a white man, of average build, aged approximately 55 years old and 5ft 10ins tall. He had short grey hair and a grey goatee beard wearing a blue and yellow anorak.

This man was also walking four pug dogs at the time, three were tan in colour and one was black.
