Police on Wednesday launched a public appeal for information regarding an armed robbery at a Cardiff pub last week.
Two men armed with a crow bar and a gun allegedly forced their way into the Iron Horse Inn, on the corner of Main Road and Harrison Street, about 4.10am last Friday.
The bandits allegedly cornered two of the venue's employees and demanded cash, before they fled the scene along Harrison Street with stolen alcohol and a laptop computer they had grabbed during the raid.
The incident was reported to Lake Macquarie police later that morning and investigators from the Robbery and Serious Crime Squad were enlisted to look into the matter.
As the investigation continues, police are calling for anyone with any information about the incident - or who may have CCTV or dashcam footage that could help detectives - to contact Crime Stoppers through the online portal or by calling 1800 333 000.
Information can be passed on to police anonymously using Crime Stoppers.
