A body has reportedly been found in woodland in East Kilbride.
A large scale police presence was reported in the area last night as officers were seen guarding a cordoned off area at garage lock-ups on Lickprivick Road at around 8pm.
Detectives were also seen investigating, according to the East Kilbride News.
A spokeswoman for Police Scotland confirmed they were in attendance but would not comment further.
A witness told the title: "Something is going on at Lickprivick Road again tonight. There is a police cordon at flats down at the mini roundabout cordoned off from the flats right round to the wooded area.
"It looks pretty serious. Definitely looks like it’s a body that has been found."
