Police 'increasingly concerned' for woman with mobility issues after disappearance in Dundee

Police have issued a plea for information in the search for a missing woman in Dundee.

Tayside police are looking for Lisa Mitchell who was last seen in the area close to Ninewells Hospital at around 2.30pm yesterday, October 9.

She is described as 5'5", of average build, with blue eyes and long purple hair.

When last seen, she was wearing pyjama bottoms, a black hooded top and a black medical moon boot.

Officers from Police Scotland say they are becoming increasingly concerned for Lisa as she has limited mobility and cannot walk without the assistance of a walking frame.

It's believed Lisa may currently be using a wheelchair, but this has not yet been confirmed.

Sergeant Sean Petrie of Tayside Division said: "We are becoming increasingly concerned for Lisa's welfare and are keen to trace her as soon as possible.

"If you have any information as to her whereabouts, please contact police as soon as possible on 101, quoting reference 2341 of 9 October, 2020."
