Police 'increasingly concerned' for woman missing from Bolton

UPDATE: Police have confirmed she has been found safe and well.

Police are asking for help to find a missing woman.

Laura Derbyshire, 30, was last seen in Bolton at about 1pm today.

Officers say they are becoming 'increasingly concerned' about her.

The last reported sighting of Ms Derbyshire was on Derwent Road in Farnworth.

Police have now issued an appeal for information, and are asking members of the public to help.

In a post on the GMP Bolton North Facebook page, officers said: "Can you help police find a missing woman from the #Farnworth area of #Bolton?

"Laura Derbyshire, 30-years-old, was last seen about 1pm today on Derwent Road, Farnworth, Bolton.

"Laura is described as female, white, 5’7’’ tall, slim build with dyed red hair, last seen wearing a white cardigan with a black pattern on it and light blue jeans.

"Officers are becoming increasingly concerned for Laura and want to make sure they are safe and well.

"Anyone with information about Laura’s whereabouts is asked to contact police on 0161 856 5748."
