Police 'increasingly' concerned for welfare of teenage girl missing for over 24 hours

Police are growing 'increasingly concerned' for the welfare of a teenage girl who has been missing for over 24 hours.

Charlotte Mitchell was last seen around 4.30pm on Saturday near to Barochan Road in Johnstone.

The 14-year-old is described as Scottish, of slim build, and around 5ft 4ins in height.

She has brown hair with blonde highlights and was wearing black and white Converse, grey tracksuit bottoms, a blue and white checked shirt, and a black t-shirt when she was last seen.

Police have growing concerns for Charlotte as time goes on and we are growing increasingly concerned for her welfare.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Anyone who may have seen Charlotte or has any information on her whereabouts is urged to contact police via 101 quoting incident 2543 of 11 June 2022."
