Police 'increasingly concerned' for welfare of missing Mark Wallace from Sunderland

Police are appealing for help in locating a 32-year-old man from Sunderland who has been reported missing.

Mark Wallace was last seen leaving a hotel on Eden Terrace in Durham before 10.30am on Friday.

Nobody has heard from Mark since and officers are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare.

It is believed Mark could be in the Sunderland area.

A search is ongoing to locate Mark, and Northumbria Police is now asking anyone who may have seen him, or know his whereabouts, to get in touch.

Mark is described as a white male of slim build, 6ft 2ins with short light brown hair and a beard.

He is thought to be wearing a dark, possibly grey, t-shirt with shorts.

A Northumbria Police spokesman said: "A search is ongoing to locate Mark, and we're now asking anyone who may have seen him, or know his whereabouts, to get in touch.

"Anyone with information is asked to call 101 quoting reference 316 18/06/21."
