Police 'increasingly concerned' for welfare of missing man, 50, from Wigan

Police are appealing for information in the search for a missing man.

David Rawlinson was last seen at around 8.30pm last night (Friday) but officers say they are becoming "increasingly concerned" for his welfare.

Police have published a photo of the 50-year-old and asked anyone with information about his whereabouts to come forward.

In a statement, a GMP spokesman said: "Police are appealing for the public’s help to find a missing man from Wigan.

"David Rawlinson, aged 50, was last seen on Wigan Lane at approximately 8.30pm on Friday 26 June 2020.

"It is believed David may be around the Scholes area.

"Officers are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare and are appealing to the public to contact them with information as a matter of urgency."
