Police increasingly 'concerned for safety' of missing Scots woman

Police are becoming increasingly concerned for the safety of a missing Scots woman from Ayrshire.

June Allan has been reported missing from New Street, Stevenston, and was last seen in the area around 8.30am on Saturday, March 11.

The 52-year-old's disappearance is described as out of character and officers are urging anyone with information on her whereabouts, or June herself, to get in touch.

June is described being as 5ft 2 in height and of medium build, with blonde bobbed hair and blue eyes.

When she was last seen, she was wearing a thigh-length purple puffer jacket, black leggings and walking shoes and was carrying an orange carrier bag.

Inspector Darren Muir, Irvine Police Office, said today: “June's behaviour is out of character, and we are becoming increasingly concerned for her safety.

"We would also ask June herself to go to a police office to let us know she is alright.”

Anyone with information about June’s whereabouts should contact police via the non-emergency number 101, quoting incident number 2205 of 11/03/2023.
