Update - police say Craig has now been found and thank you to the public for sharing the appeal
Police are 'increasingly concerned' about a missing Southport man.
Craig Elliot was last seen on Bath Street, at around 9.15am, on Monday, January 3.
Officers say while he was last spotted in Southport he is known to visit Formby beach, Marshside and Ainsdale areas.

Mr Elliot was last seen wearing a dark padded coat with a stag symbol on the chest, jeans and multi-coloured trainers.
He is described as a white man, of medium build with short light brown hair.
A spokesperson for the force said: "Please share and help us find missing Southport man, Craig Elliot.
"50-year-old Craig was last seen on Bath Street, Southport, at around 9.15am yesterday, Monday 3 January.
"He is described as white male, of medium build with short light brown hair.
"When he was last seen, Craig was wearing a dark padded coat with a stag symbol on the chest, jeans and multi-coloured trainers.
"He is known to frequent the Formby Beach, Marshside and Ainsdale areas.
"We are increasingly concerned about Craig’s whereabouts. Anyone who has seen Craig is asked to DM @MerPolCC or call 101. Sightings can also be reported via:
