Police 'increasingly concerned' for Irvine woman who vanished yesterday

Police say they're becoming increasingly concerned for an Irvine woman who vanished yesterday.

Nicola Stirling was last seen on Dunlop Crescent in the town around 4.30pm yesterday afternoon.

The 46-year-old was last spotted driving a red Vauxhall Astra, although cops admitted that they don't know what direction she was going in.

Nicola is described as 5ft 1, with long brown hair.

She was wearing a brown hooded top, blue jeans and brown New Balance trainers.

Sergeant Iain Murray said: “Nicola was last seen driving a red Vauxhall Astra, though it’s not known which direction she was going.

"We are getting increasingly concerned about her and we, along with her friends and family want to know she is safe and well.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact police via 101 quoting incident number 4374 of 9 Oct 2020.
