Police 'increasingly concerned' after teenage girl goes missing

Police officers have admitted that they're getting 'increasingly concerned' about a 17-year-old girl who went missing 11 days ago.

Mia Powell, from Southport, was last seen on Friday, October 18 at around 7.30pm, on Victoria Road in Formby, Merseyside.

She is described as white, around 5ft 5in tall, of slim build, with straight blonde shoulder-length hair, the Echo reports.

When she was last seen, Mia was wearing a blue top, dark trouser, black flip-flops and dark socks, Merseyside Police have said.

A spokeswoman said: "She is known to frequent trains and stations, particularly Southport, Hunts Cross and Liverpool city centre.

"We are becoming increasingly concerned for Mia’s whereabouts and anyone who has seen her, or has any information is asked to contact @MerPolCC, 101 or @missingpeople on 116 000."
