Police incident in Wythenshawe after car carrying 'group of young lads' crashes with another vehicle

Police have sealed off a road in Wythenshawe following a crash between two cars.

It is believed officers were called at around 7.20pm on Friday evening to Greatfield Road in Wythenshawe town centre to reports of a crash.

Photographs seen by the Manchester Evening News show the front of a black car badly damaged.

Another silver car can be seen being towed away from the scene by a specialist removal truck.

Eye witnesses described one of the vehicles containing a 'group of young lads.'

A number of officers and investigators remain at the scene, which is covered by a police cordon.
