Police have sealed off a street in Chorlton as officers deal with an ongoing incident.
A cordon is currently in place on Badminton Road, at the junction of Brannocks Road.
Local residents have reported seeing four police cars, an ambulance and detectives at the scene.
The nature of the incident has not been confirmed by GMP.
Pictures from the scene show a police cordon stretching along a number of residential properties.
A police car is parked at either end of the road, with officers guarding the cordon.
