Police in urgent search for 16-year-old girl missing from her Carmarthenshire home

UPDATE: Dyfed-Powys Police has confirmed that Skye Roberts was found safe and well on Saturday morning.

A teenage girl has gone missing from her home in Carmarthenshire.

Skye Roberts, who is 16, was last seen in Cwmgwili, around two miles south of Cross Hands, on Thursday afternoon.

Police launched an appeal to find her later on Thursday after her family became “concerned for her wellbeing”.

When she was last seen she was believed to be wearing a dark hoody and was carrying a small, dark and grey rucksack.

She is described as 5ft tall and of medium build, with long hair which is red on one side and shaved on the other.

Police say she has links to North Wales - specifically the Amlwch area - and Carmarthen.

A spokeswoman for Dyfed-Powys Police said: “Anyone with any information about her whereabouts, or any sightings or contact with Skye, is asked to contact police by calling 101 as a matter of urgency.”
