Police have issued an urgent appeal to find two missing 12-year-olds who have disappeared in Surrey.

Ellie Murphy and Tyler Anderson were last seen leaving a house in New Haw at around 11.30pm on Thursday last night, Surrey Live reports.

Their families are "growing increasingly concerned for their welfare" since they disappeared, police said.

They described Ellie as being around 5ft 2ins with brown curly hair and of a "slightly larger build".

Tyler is described as 4ft 9ins with long brown hair, skinny build and green eyes.

He was last seen wearing blue tracksuit bottoms, a grey top and black trainers.

Police added in their appeal: "The pair are likely to be together and be travelling by train.

"They have connections across the Runnymede area and have links to Kingston."
