Police in Tayside probe significant housebreaking and jewellery theft

Tayside Police are investigating a significant jewellery theft from a house in Forfar.

A property in Well Road, Lunanhead was targeted between 2pm and 8pm on Saturday.

A force spokesman listed the items that were taken in the raid.

The haul included: two silver Pandora charm bracelets, a silver pandora necklace, a gold charm bracelet with four charms on it including a church and the letter S, three watches - two Rotary and one gold - and six gold rings, one with an amethyst and one with a sapphire.

Anyone with information on the robbery or if they have seen the items for sale should call 101 or speak to any police officer.

Information can also be passed to officers anonymously through CrimeStoppers on 0800 555 111.

The crime reference is incident 3299 of 4th December.
