Police in Lanarkshire 'concerned' for the welfare of a missing man

Police in Lanarkshire are asking for help in tracing a missing man.

Robbie Patterson was reported missing from Eyemouth in the Scottish Borders on Sunday, with officers saying there are growing concerns for his welfare.

Now cops here have joined in on the search for the 22-year-old, saying they believe he could have travelled here.

They believe he may have come to the area in a white Ford Fiesta ST-Line, registration number MX68 SWU, and are asking for anyone with information to help.

A spokesman for the force told Lanarkshire Live: “Robbie lives in the Upper Houndlaw area in Eyemouth and was last seen in the Alnwick area around 6.20 am on Sunday morning.

“He has not been seen or heard from since and there are growing concerns for his welfare.”

Robbie is described as white, around 6ft 1in, of stocky build with short fair/blond hair.

When last seen he was wearing a white Adidas t-shirt, grey jogging bottoms and white trainers.

Anyone with any information in relation to any drugs activity should call police on 101.

Information can also be left anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
