Police in Lanarkshire appeal for information in bid to trace missing Blantyre man

Police in Lanarkshire are appealing for the help of the public to trace a 64-year-old man reported missing.

Edward Flynn was last seen around 9.20pm on Tuesday, June 6, in the Auchinraith Road area of Blantyre.

He is described as around 5ft 10ins, with grey, thinning hair, and of medium build. He was wearing a navy polo shirt and navy cargo trousers, both with a NHS logo.

Edward may be in his car, a silver Ford Mondeo registration SB10 YPZ.

Inspector James Mutter said: “Concerns are growing for Edward’s welfare and we want to make sure he is safe and well.

“Anyone who has seen him or knows where he might be is asked to get in touch. Please also contact us if you have seen his car.”

If you can assist call Police Scotland on 101, quoting reference number 4522 of Tuesday, 6 June, 2023.
