Police in Hope Street and Renfrew Lane probing rape of teen in Glasgow

Police in Glasgow have cordoned off sections of Hope Street and Renfrew Lane as part of a rape investigation.

A 17-year-old woman says she was raped on Friday, May 17, and reported the incident to police yesterday.

Police have confirmed that enquiries into the incident are ongoing.

A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: "Police are carrying out enquiries following a report of a 17-year-old woman having been subject of a serious assault in Glasgow."
