Police in East Kilbride launch appeal for information to find missing man

Police in East Kilbride say they are “increasingly concerned” for the welfare of a missing man.

Now they are asking for help from the public in finding him.

James McFarlane was last seen around 10.30am in the town’s Capelrig Drive area today, (Friday, June 12).

Described as a white male, 5ft 10in, the 39-year-old was wearing a blue t-shirt, grey trousers and blue trainers when last seen.

James was said to be riding a blue bike.

A police source told the News: “We are becoming increasingly concerned for James’ welfare.

“We would encourage any person with information regarding his whereabouts or possible sightings to contact police as soon as possible.”
