Police officers were "shocked" to discover a staggering amount of motorists caught speeding in a short space of time on a busy Merseyside road.
On Wednesday afternoon of January 26, Merseyside Police officers took to social media to confirm they conducted speed checks on Green Leach Lane in St Helens, close to a nearby park used by dog walkers.
Within just thirty minutes, they were speechless when they found 14 vehicles recorded speeding in the 30mph zone.

In a 30mph zone, the highest speed caught by officers was 38mph.
Green Leach Lane is close to Haresfinch Park, and a little further down is also a primary school.
Merpol St Helens said: "This afternoon Team 2 conducted speed checks on Green Leach Lane. To our shock within 30 minutes, 14 vehicles were recorded speeding.
"The highest was 38mph in a 30. With Haresfinch Park close by and lots of dog walkers about we hope a serious incident doesn't occur."
Also in the St Helens area, officers were carrying out speed enforcement checks on Park Road following a number of local complaints.
Officers from the Roads Policing Unit confirmed that two tickets were issued - one for a driver who was caught speeding at 42mph in a 30pmh zone.
The other was for careless driving in which the motorist overtook when unsafe to do so.
