Police in desperate search for missing mum and baby issue urgent appeal

Police have mounted a desperate search after a mum went missing with her baby tonight.

Officers say Kirsty, 31, is white, about 5ft 4ins, with long brown hair, brown eyes and freckles.

Avon and Somerset Police are so concerned that they have taken the unnusual step of releasing Kirsty's car licence plate.

The mum is thought to be driving a grey Astra, with the registration PN59 GXW.

Police in the South West say they are growing increasingly concerned as she left home unexpectedly.

Police believe Kirsty may be in south Bristol but have not given any other information about why or where she went missing from.

They have appealed to the public to help to find her.

Avon and Somerset Police have made a public appeal on social media.

It says: "Please help us find Kirsty, missing with her baby and who may be in south Bristol.

"We're concerned for their welfare. Kirsty, 31, is white, about 5ft 4ins, with long brown hair, brown eyes & freckles. She drives a grey Astra, reg PN59 GXW."

Anyone who sees her is urged to call 999 immediately and quote reference number 5222134373. Anyone who knows where she might be can call 101.
