Police in CCTV appeal after woman sexually assaulted on Elizabeth Line train in broad daylight

Anyone who recognises the man is asked to contact British Transport Police - (British Transport Police)

Police are looking for a man who sexually assaulted a woman on an Elizabeth Line train in August.

The incident occurred on the Reading to Abbey Wood service on August 20, 2025.

At around 8am, a man boarded the train at Maidenhead and approached a woman.

He sexually assaulted her multiple times throughout the journey, and was seen touching himself inappropriately, before getting off the train at West Drayton.

They have released this photo of a man who they believe may have information that could help their investigation.

He is also believed to have information relating to two similar incidents - one took place on an Elizabeth Line train from Slough to West Drayton railway station on November 18.

The other occurred at Slough railway station on July 25.

The force has asked anyone who recognises the man to contact British Transport Police by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 196 of 20 August.
