Police have been pelted with fireworks and bins set alight in an ongoing public disorder incident in Belfast.
The Police Service Northern Ireland said in a statement: "Police are dealing with public disorder in the Lanark Way area of north Belfast this evening (Wednesday 3 November).
"A number of missiles and fireworks have been thrown towards police. Officers are advising motorists and pedestrians to avoid the area until further notice."
It is reported that police have shut the gates at the junction of Lanark Way and Springfield Road as a precaution.
The street protest comes as the leader of the DUP, Sir Jeffery Donaldson, told his party that he had extended the deadline to pull ministers out of the Executive by November.

Anti-protocol messaging had been circling on social media earlier this week "calling all Loyalists" to join the protest at Lanark way on Wednesday evening.
Riot police have been deployed and a number of bins were set on fire in the Shankill Road area.
Loyalist activist Jamie Bryson commented saying: "Really disappointing that we have disorder on our streets again. No one wants to see this.

"The Protocol has destabilised peace in Northern Ireland.
"It’s now urgent that Article 16 is deployed to drive a dagger into the heart of the Protocol & allow stability to return."
