Both men were taken by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where both men were treated for stab wounds and released following treatment.

Detective Constable Derek Young at Cambuslang CID said “We have very limited information regarding the motive for these assaults and can only describe the suspects as being men in their early 20’s who were wearing dark clothing.

“I am keen to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time these assaults took place and may have witnessed the incidents or anyone who may have captured them on their dash cams.”

Anyone with information should contact CID at Cambuslang via telephone number 101 quoting incident number 2095 of 21 January 2020. Alternatively calls can be made to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where anonymity can be maintained.
