Aberdeen cops hunting couple after assault and robbery in Union Street

Police Scotland has released CCTV images in relation to an early morning assault and robbery in Aberdeen.

The attack happened in Union Street in the early hours of Sunday, 2 August.

Officers say the man and woman “could assist with an ongoing investigation” into the incident that happened between 4.30am and 4.45am.

They released the images following other enquiries as they believe the pair may have further information to assist their ongoing enquiries.

Detective Constable Ailsa McKain said: "I would appeal to anyone who recognises these people to contact us as soon as possible please.”
