Police have identified three men found dead in Victoria's southwest.

Two of the men, both from Kirkstall outside Warrnambool, were found injured beside the road at the intersection of Kirkstall-Koroit Rd and Scotts North Rd about 10.20am on Friday.

They were aged 50 and 49. Both died at the scene.

The third man, now identified as a 45-year-old from Kirkstall, was found dead in a house on Chamberlain St at Kirkstall later on Friday.

Police believe the men were known to each other, and have said they are not looking for anyone else in connection with their investigation.

Detectives from Warrnambool crime investigation unit will prepare a report for the coroner, police said on Saturday.
