Police have identified the body of a man found on the side of a road in Prestatyn.
North Wales Police said a post mortem examination carried out by the Home Office found that the man's death was not suspicious.
A spokesman said: "It is believed that the man is Terrance Joseph Moores, 63, from the Stockport area of Cheshire."
His body was discovered on Friday evening on the coastal side of the A548 road between Gronant and Prestatyn.
The death remains unexplained pending the conclusion of the pathologist's investigation.
Detective Inspector Elfyn Hughes said: “The family have been supported by specially trained Family Liaison Officers over the weekend and have been updated.
“I would like to thank all the members of public who kindly contacted us in response to our appeal and to the surrounding businesses who were also very helpful.”
The road was closed for several hours on Friday as police carried out investigation work in the area.
Witnesses described seeing forensic officers, underwater search teams and uniformed officers searching the area.
