A man who was jailed for his part in a high-value robbery gang which saw cars stolen in a number of burglaries is 'wanted' and faces being recalled to prison, police said today.
Elliot Foster, 26, handled six stolen cars, believed to be worth around £84,000 in total, and advertised them for sale on social media, a court was told.
Foster was caught out after police found photos of the stolen keys and a video of himself driving in one of the stolen cars. He was jailed in August 2021 for four years and nine months.

He was working alongside former fugitive Cody Lowndes, 22, who sparked a huge manhunt after escaping custody. One of the videos Foster filmed featured him driving a stolen Hyundai with Lowndes on the roof. Lowndes wasn’t arrested until 10 days later, after appearing to taunt police in an Instagram video.
After Foster was released from jail on licence, police in Tameside have today (Tuesday) said Foster was 'wanted on recall to prison after breaching the conditions of his licence following a conviction for handling stolen goods'.
Foster, from Stalybridge, Tameside, pleaded guilty to seven offences of handling stolen goods, and two separate, unrelated offences of criminal damage and sending malicious communications.
In a statement today, GMP Tameside South and West said: "Police are appealing for the public’s help to trace a wanted man from Stalybridge.
"Elliot Foster, 26, is wanted on recall to prison after breaching the conditions of his licence following a conviction for handling stolen goods.
"Foster is known to have links to the Tameside (Stalybridge & Hyde) area of Greater Manchester as well as other areas of the UK.
