Police hunting two men after Leeds 78-year-old attacked in his own home during robbery

Detectives investigating a robbery where an elderly man was attacked in his home in Leeds have released images of two suspects.

The 78-year-old victim was pulled from his chair by the legs when he challenged two men who forced their way into his home in Seacroft, in Leeds, shortly after 5pm on May 26.

West Yorkshire Police said the man was pinned to the floor and searched while his home was ransacked, and his bank cards stolen.

Detective Sergeant Ciaran Burns, of Leeds District Crime Team, said: “This was a particularly nasty incident targeting a vulnerable elderly victim in his home.

“We are keen to identify and arrest both these men, who we believe have links to the Middleton area, and we would like to hear from anyone who recognises them.”
