Police are still hunting a knife attacker after a man was stabbed in the face in Piccadilly Gardens.
The attack happened outside the Morrisons supermarket near Oldham Street at around 3.45pm on Saturday (April 24).
Greater Manchester Police said a 25-year-old man was attacked by another man.
He suffered stab wounds to the face, arm and shoulder in the assault.

He was taken to hospital for treatment, however, his injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.
An investigation is underway and detectives have urged any witnesses of the 'isolated incident' to come forward.
A spokesperson for the force today confirmed no arrests had yet been made in connection with the attack.
A large police cordon was in place on Saturday night with a section of Oldham Street taped off.
Blood soaked clothes were visible on the pavement inside the cordon.
Local councillors were told 'high visibility patrols' would be stepped up after the attack.
Operation Perseus launched in December and there are now two shifts of police officers - five Pcs and four Pcsos - covering Piccadilly seven days a week.
