Police hunting for thieves who stole six fork lift trucks from Patchway

Police are appealing for information after thieves stole six fork lift trucks in Patchway.

The vehicles were stolen from a company premises overnight between 6pm on Friday (July 26) and 9am on Saturday (July 27).

Entry was forced into the premises in Britannia Road and six forklift trucks were then taken.

Police say it is likely that a vehicle, such as a low loader, is likely to have been used to transport the forklift trucks from the area.

Avon and Somerset Constabulary is now appealing for witnesses to come forward.

"We’re keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident or anyone who may have seen forklift trucks being moved overnight in the area," a police spokesperson said.
