Police are hunting a woman who sexually assaulted and racially abused another woman on a Jubilee line Tube train.

Officers are appealing for witnesses after they said a woman was attacked while travelling between Bond Street and Baker Street earlier this month.

The assault happened on October 6, at about 7.15pm. Police said a woman was approached by another woman who sat next to her.

The female passenger left her seat and moved away, police said, before she then received racial abuse from the other woman.

The suspect then continued to shout vile racial abuse at her, before she got off at Baker Street.

British Transport police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward by contact BTP by text on 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40.
