Police are hunting for a man after a 15-year-old schoolgirl was the victim of upskirting at Manchester Piccadilly station.

British Transport Police (BTP) said a man followed the girl, who was in school uniform, around Sainsbury's in the station.

He made multiple attempts to place his phone under her skirt.

While she was at the till, the man stood behind her and placed his phone under her skirt before leaving the shop without purchasing anything.

He then followed her around the station before boarding a train.

It happened on April 1 at about 4.30pm.

After BTP released images of the suspect, it appealed for anyone who recognises him to call 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 1900027691. Alternatively, call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
