Police hunt two men after stabbing death at Lockyer Valley hotel

The man was found in the carpark of the hotel with multiple stab wounds.

Police are hunting two men after a fatal stabbing outside a hotel in the Lockyer Valley, west of Brisbane.

A man in his 50s suffered multiple stab wounds in the carpark of the Plainland hotel, just after 6pm.

He was treated by paramedics but died at the scene.

Police said two men who had allegedly been involved in a fight with the victim left the scene in a black sedan.

It is believed the pair headed eastbound on the Ipswich Motorway.

Police have launched a murder investigation and are appealing for dashcam footage and anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward.
